But the royals numbers this year are absurd. They'll never be a top half power team though.Which player was held back from reaching his 40+ homerun potential because of the ballpark? Or is it possible the Royals just have never had a power hitter in their existence? Both, but the team doesn't build around power like others have done.

The lack of offense is becoming something that might not turn around. The pitching is not going to hold up. The lack of power on this team is ridiculus, it just doesn't make sense. The average joe could go up there swinging like frenchy does and get the barrel on the ball square and knock it out of the park as often as the royals do.I really don't think the Royals have ever had a history as a power hitting team. Yes, they've had a few big boomers, but not several on the same team. This team has some hitters with great potential, some pitchers with great potential, and some gloves with great potential. What's missing? IMO, it's a great manager who can meld it and bring it all together. Torre mad winners out of losers, Showalter does the same, and Billy Martin did it better than anyone. Who can do the same for the Royals? My wildest dream is Tony LaRussa, but I really believe he has retired for good. What's the answer?Dude, Billy Martin. Really? Weird choice. Anyhoos, I think Yost was fine for the team before. He's a player's coach and young kids enjoy that. Now he's costing us games so he can GTFO. Just plug in any available coach at this point, the change should be enough to get the players attention.

Wow. Dingers by Hos and Moose in the same game. I like that. And Gordo's homer was fine, also.
Hos and moose homers would not have been at the k. Mooses would have gone foul.
