KITN on Friday
Royals drew a perfect time to play the Rays.
Brace face went 3-3 and is now hitting .315
Quote from: ben ji on June 27, 2012, 04:46:09 PMBrace face went 3-3 and is now hitting .315Why isn't he getting more all-star love? I'm pretty sure I saw he has the highest BA of any AL SS and usually has a highlight defensive play every game. Pretty amazing for a guy that was an offensive liability last year. He's also raised his slugging percentage from .343 last year to .427I love 'cides
Anyone know how realistic Esky's chances are??
Quote from: WillieWatanabe on June 20, 2012, 09:37:13 PMSo who's the Royals All-Star(s)(!)?Will we actually get a position/DH player this year? Or just the usual Bullpen guy?Hoping Escobar or Billy personally.should be alcides, moose or billy but will be broxton and that's all.

So Jeter will win the fan voting I assume, and do managers still select the reserves? If so, that could be good for Escobar...

If so, that could be good for Escobar...In the AL they get to pick 8 players on top of the fan and player picks but he has to consult with other managers and the league office. I heard Ron Washington wants Tim Collins so I'm not sure if that will hurt Escobars chances or not.
Buster Ohleny said we only need our starters to go 5 innings because our bullpen is so good. Or something like that. So, there's that. Also, Perez was called back up to the majors. I think if we can average +6 runs per game, we should be fine.
Quote from: Belvis Noland on May 30, 2012, 03:04:11 PMRoyals win 6-3. First winning record in May since 1994. Split or won last 5 series with Division opponents. Now, if we just had another solid starter.......That was a pretty brutal schedule this month. June looks to be a pretty pud schedule. I wouldn't be surprised to see KC go 5 or 6 games over .500 during the month.
