I noticed at the store yesterday that everything pork was on sale. Everything besides ham, of course, due to the proximity of Thanksgiving when people will be buying it disirregardlessly of price. Why is this interesting? To the general public, it's probably not. But to me, it was VERY interesting.
Why would McDonald's not do the McRib year round? Sure, there's marketing strategy in pretending it's a limited commodity. But I thought, maybe McDonald's just waits until pork is discounted because of the need for ham, without a need for the rest of the pig parts. And therefore, I wondered, is McRib always back around Thanksgiving and Christmas? So I looked it up and sure enough, in the US it always "returns" in late October/early November then is done basically right after xmas. So now you know how to set our calendars for its return in 2024.
