Her wingspan is two inches shorter than Anthony Davis'.  She's a junior.  Baylor has the second best point guard in the country who's only a sophomore.  Next year they will have the most dominant season in the history of men's or women's college basketball.
as suppose to this years 40-0 team  :sdeek:

Uh yeah, they return everyone, stands to reason they'll be better.

Coach Deb needs to recruit Manhattan High much better.  That is the surefire road to success for keeping your job as coach of any insignificant sport at KSU, in perpetuity.

Oh god, this x 1000. They could go 12-19 for 10 years in a row, but if she was throwing two or three Indians on the floor every night, nobody would give a crap. Throw in a sharp shooter from Centralia and there will be 4000 people at every game.

Janssen enjoys associating "Patterson" and "curious."

Quote
PATTERSON `CURIOUS' ABOUT HER TEAM

Nov. 1, 2012

By Mark Janssen

"Curious."

In a word, that's how Kansas State coach Deb Patterson sums up her feelings about her 2012-13 women's basketball team heading into play tonight at 7 against Fort Hays State in an exhibition game slated for Bramlage Coliseum.

"I'm curious as to what I'm going to see with this group," said Patterson of her team that includes seven first-year players. "We've been working hard to establish an understanding of the speed and physicality with which you have to play at this level of basketball."

Coach Deb is well worth the $600K a year K-State pays her.

Game tonight was kind of ugly.

First off, props to FHSU. They're pretty good, and their tall girl really caused some problems.

However, K-State should have done much better. Shot selection was horrible. I don't have a problem with Brittany Chambers taking 6 threes in a game.  She can shoot. But she needs to pick her shots better.  A lot of shots tonight were forced by our players.

That was my main concern.  My other concern is our lack of height. We are not a tall team. This could cause some problems down the road.

protip, we are not very good this year at all.  And Chambers taking 6 threes a game will be a minimum this season, she took 4 in the 10 minute scrimmage.  Spread, drive, kick out is the entirety of the offense this year.

It doesn't look very good for this year. And yeah, that was pretty much the offense tonight.  We didn't have enough size to go down low. We got lucky sometimes and picked up some cheap baskets down there when Fort Hays wasn't looking... but we don't have much of a post game.

I actually bought womens season tickets this year for no reason. Do they give you priority points for that? They were only $20 per season ticket so I figured what the hell and checked the little boxes. Does anyone want some tickets?
Where did you get that overnight bag?

She lost two bigs to ACL injuries.  She has also signed two bigs for 2013.

Yeah, shame.

I'll be creepy here for a minute but Katya Leick, she is def. a looker. Very good looking. Sad she'll miss another season (transfer then injury)
