So... moving past the colossal crap show today (has a top 15 ever been down by nearly 40 points in a game ever - thanks to Iowa State earlier this year, we can be sure we aren't the only ones!).

We have two sleepwalk games in the next week (@Cincy, vs. UCF) and then what is probably going to be a tough turnaround from playing at home vs. UCF next Saturday to playing @WVU at 1 p.m. on President's Day. That's going to be a tough one.

Right now, it's a 3-way tie at 10-2 for first (us, TCU, Baylor). After WVU, we have KU, Baylor & @ISU. Baylor has a tough schedule as well (WVU, ISU, KSU, TCU) with TCU in the best position with only two decent opponents left (WVU & Baylor). That CU loss might end up costing us the title unless we can beat WVU.

Don't want to kick someone when they're down, but Walker has got to play better. She's down to 34% from the field, 16%(!) from 3 and 50% from the line in Big 12 play. When you're the No. 3 shot taker on the team, you've got to shoot better.

I don't know how many people saw the start of the women's game, or the finish for that matter, but shot selection was as bad as I've seen from any team, ever, and this was led by Zy. They just kept giving her open 3s and she just kept taking them, didn't even attempt to get the ball in the paint. All of the guards just kept forcing bad 3s, except for Jae, and she just didn't make at her usual rate in the first half. It was almost like freaky friday with the december/january version of the men's team, just a litany of poor shot selection and poor defense. Truly an embarrassing performance that legitimately ruined my weekend.

Yeah, I flipped over after the mens game and was like wtf, then we made a run only to get demolished again.  Weird game, that happens some times.

our remaining schedule is so more difficult than Baylor and TCU. If we end up with a share of the title, it would be a minor miracle. That being said, we will be heavy favorites to win the P66, which we've never done on the women's side.

I'm not that bothered by Taryn. Her defense is what it is, she needs to hit shots and she didn't, that's going to happen to someone who's game is heavily reliant on 3 point shooting. I'm much more disturbed by her shitty brothers and how they acted on social media. Serena got completely rattled by the officiating, she was getting hammered but there was far too much whining and anticipating contact. The bigs were abhorrent, but I don't really expect anything from them, ever.

The conference championship is still there, we just need someone to beat TCU. Lee is back now. The game on Saturday will be a fitting senior day for the ladies, we'll beat the hell out of KU.

Also, speaking of the bigs, apparently Kennedy Taylor is going to have another year of eligibility a retroactive redshirt from the year she was at Colorado, not sure how I feel about that.

Gis is going to do senior day activities on Saturday because her parents are currently here, but she is returning next year.

Publicly lashing out because they didn't think Taryn played enough. As if playing her more minutes would have changed the outcome. They both have been crashing out, the last two seasons, on twitter like this every time they don't think she plays enough or the team loses, it's embarrassing.

The way they behave in the replies is also appalling. They are constantly shïtposting and they're saying things that are likely offensive to her teammates, it's completely unnecessary.

I don't know how her teammates or coaches view their behavior. I do know for an absolute A+ source fact, that one of the prominent players parents are well aware of their act on twitter and they aren't happy about it, at all. Kevin is way too old to be acting like this. The other brother may as well be 16 years old, he seems to have the mental maturity and language of a middle schooler.
