#7 in the AP - finally had a couple more losses in front of us.

17-1 with our only loss to the current #2 (who we also beat at their place). Exciting times!

@ TCU (they've lost 4 in a row to start 2024) and home for KU this week.

Def exciting times. @TCU should be a win, as is KU, but ladyhawks have proven to be dangerous. Take care of these two and then it's a big one @Baylor.

I don't think Walker has been talked about enough. She has had some really good minutes over the past several games.

The future is bright with Walker and Sides. Obviously getting Lee back was huge for this team but upgrading the role players with these freshmen and Sanchez has been big as well.

Walker has gradually started to eat into Glenn's PT. It may not stay that way, but when we need some extra scoring punch (like vs. Texas) she brings that dimension and Glenn just doesn't have it.

Per my policy, we will count this as a 12th straight win.

Agreed, really what's interesting is this happens to the current league front runners (us and Iowa State). So it's like nothing happens on that front. But it's I guess nice to not risk playing and injuries, but it's also not nice to get PT in, and have travelled already all the way to Ft. Worth.

A midweek rest and trip to Buc-ee's isn't the worst for this team. Lee was hobbling a little Saturday and Sundell and Gregory have picked up a few knocks recently.

Meanwhile, Saturday's opponent is coming home from Austin with a 35 point L. (still not sure how KU beat Baylor)

First place alone now.

Also saw TCU is having open tryouts for walk-ons. That seems not great for them.

You are, but you shouldn't worry. Spaces laid out the injuries. Lee has been dealing with an ankle injury for a couple of weeks. The rumors of her having a long term injury is cap. I do think it's within the realm of possibility that she might not play tomorrow, but there's no long term issue.

That's the ankle injury. They decided for her to have surgery, which is a good idea. From what I understand the injury is, I had a very similar surgery in 2019. We have a two game lead on every other conference team not named Iowa State and I don't think they will be a contender.

Seems like we should be worried then. No clue how we can win @BU and @Texas now, let alone @ISU. Seems like most likely the regular season title is probably going to be very, very hard to achieve.
Just hope she can make a fully recovery and full force by tourny time.

We have a two game lead. Texas lost their all american for the season. Baylor just lost to two teams that will be bubble teams this year.

Well, 1 game w/ ISU. But understand your point, just very nervous to play said Texas team that took us to the wire at home, and still playing a dangerous Baylor team.

Weird game... KUs top two players go down, we're getting nothing from Gregory or Sanchez, bad calls all over the place.

We look like we haven't played without Lee (even though we did all last year).

Maupin's been a bright spot, I think we need Sundell to be more assertive from a scoring standpoint during this next month
