That was fun the second quarter was amazingly painful though.
It was brutal.

Mittie & Co. cleaned up on early signing day yesterday. Two top 100 players and two 6'4 posts.  :emawkid:

Townie, we've been promoted, this conversation is on the basketball board. Men's basketball has been relegated, those conversations will now happen here.

I appreciate the info from both of you. I'm hoping we get wins and lots of them from both men's and women's this year.

Solid 83-53 win tonight after a slow first quarter start. This team has a lot of potential.

It was painful. Rebound coming, but probably not against West Virginia.

It was a great  performance, the Cats' best of the season.   Glad my pessimism was misplaced.

This team is all over the placeand will likely continue to be for at least a few weeks. This roster and the playing rotation has been very fluid in Mittie's three seasons.

WBB n00b here. Is there a reason that #11 started yesterday? I seems that there are several other forwards on the team who are better.

I'm really not sure what Mittie is looking for out of that other forward position. We seem to have a rotation of four players who play that position and who spell Breanna Lewis when she sits. Those three players are Williams (the #11 you speak of), Willock, Sheble, and Kaylee Page. IMO Page is the best of the four. Willock and Williams are both freshmen though. I think the talent in Willock is apparent but she absolutely makes glaring mistakes. I don't know why Williams seems to be the choice as the starter now but Page gets the most minutes, by far.

I was really impressed w/ Willock and Page. Willock could be really good at the end of four years. Lewis finished almost every time she got the ball in the paint.

So it's Baylor and UConn for the Natty?

Baylor really 42 points better than us?

It's crazy that a middle of the Big 12, decent team in mbb can be consistently competitive with the top teams in the league, but in wbb they don't seem to belong on the same court.

Virginia beat Virginia Tech tonight 76-27, Virginia Tech is ranked, Virginia is not. Yes, you read that right; yes, I typed that right.
