Geez, you guys are right. The transition to playing NBA level talent is nothing like the transition from High School to College where you have to get used to how much faster and stronger everyone is than they were at the previous level.

you guys honestly cannot believe that ksu could beat a nba team.  the nba has the greatest athletes in the world, yet somehow you think jacob pullen could lead this team to victory? hahahahahaha

Not just Jake.  The rest of the team would also have to play their "A" game.

24 games, tard.  Sure, in a one-game winner-take-all situation, the NBA team might be able to use its athleticism to take the Katz out of their gameplan, but over the course of 24 KSU gets acclimated to the above-mentioned shifts in styles, refs, etc. and takes half.

KSU is going to really good this year but for people to say that whoever plays against kobe is a push is just absurd.  Kobe will go down as one of the top 5 players ever.  Yes the NBA is all about offense but if you watch the playoffs you will see that even the best defense can't stop nba players.  they are just too good.  No college basketball team could beat a NBA team even if they played 50 times.  Do you think that oregon could beat the lions in football?

Sorry, Kobe has simply never dealt with a player with Shane "wingspan" Southwell's length.  He would meltdown and go 6-24, start yelling at his teammates while Franks TEAM hugged and fist bumped.

I think our front court is getting ignored here and that is a shame.  Art said 'Spri could go pro.  Art doesn't just make crap like that up.  'Spri would shut down most NBA centers, and even the best ones would have a subpar night.  Also, Dwight Howard disappears in big games so I would really like Freddy in that match up.

I never said anything about Lebron being a team first guy.  I said he had length.  As for your frontcourt yes it is very solid, but its not great yet.  Being great in college and great in the nba is two totally different things.

I was talking about the front players of ksu.  You know like kelly, aspirilla, and samuels.  they are good college players but couldnt compete against the worst nba frontcourt.

We would not win a single game against any NBA team.  EVER.  Geez.

a lot of people didn't think barcelona was better than the lakers either.  guess what?  smoked'em.  face it, nba'tards, a well coached team of winners will beat a team of gunners and "athletes" every time.

Excellent point Sys.  Why is it that the USA national team has fared so poorly lately?  Me-first attitudes, that's why.  It took a college coach to get them back on the right track.  KSU-100, NBA All-Stars- 91.

Do you think that oregon could beat the lions in football?

Remember in 2003 when the Oklahoma Sooners football team beat the Arizona Cardinals?

It's basically already happened before.  Stop being such a drama queen and acting so surprised at this scenario.  Do you think the Miracle on Ice was a real miracle?  No, it was junkyard cats vs. the nba.

Great point here.  Let's leave the K-State vs. the Top 3rd of the NBA in the K-State vs. the Top 3rd of the NBA thread.

Bump.  The addition of D-pete ratchets up the win total by at least 2 "hustle" games.
