It might be nice if they put out some concepts for feedback before deciding rather than asking for feedback afterwards.  That might piss people off more though if their idea got "rejected".  Not sure how the people who lost out on purple tux shirts vs. other shitty shirts for ICAT felt about losing.  :dunno:

doom, try photoshopping the kind of wood you used for your log cabin walls onto parts or all of the new court design.  Maybe we can all come to a new darkwood consensus.

I'd take an Oregon type Court but with wheat around the outside in a second....if we had thought of it first.  But we didn't so this is fine by me.

The log cabin walls are not very dark wood.  Besides, this isn't about me and how I chopped trees down to make my own basement walls and then dug out the kaw river valley with my sythe in the most manly and burly way imaginable.  This is about how this:

Became a briggs logo cluster eff.

Well then that might just be the perfect shade for the inner 3-point area.

A bit too amber for the other wood.  Would go well with the Briggs logos though.

i think it's more that the word "Briggs" just sounds  :barf:
and when you combine the word "Briggs" with a Microsoft Word 1997 gradient pattern, it transforms into a giant centrifuge of  :barf:

How much money can briggs be giving us anyways?  I mean really, a used car dealership is  :kstategrad: enough to get their shitty logo on our court?  Put it on that scrolling board in front of the scorer's table and call it good.

is it the briggs logo that was designed by bookcat that everyone is ripping so hard?  if so, that's rough ridin' funny.

Here's what the Phog came up with.

I do really like the Frankenberry ad.  Would take.

KU grad must have designed the CBE court last year.

The court isn't bad.  The court design isn't what pisses me off.  It's that some fan of the school photo-shopped this:

...And the university couldn't match it or top it.  The Briggs logos makes me feel like Ttech too, which feels awful.  If Frank starts coaching in a Briggs polo we'll know it's all over.

I agree with you.  That design makes me sad because it's so much better than what we ended up with.

I don't understand why a lot of people here don't like the Powercat. It's one of the best logos in college sports, imo. Better than Iowa's logo, which is good too.

it is probably the ugliest logo in all of sport, you can tell that whoever designed it was a complete dumbass and probably from iowa.  it looks just like their corn farmer trophy thing.

Or, in honor of ecokat, we can recycle this court into the court Wabash designed.
