It's funny, the hyperdunks look cheaper/less durable than the hyperfuses, but cost $20 more. (I have old hyperfuse lows, they are more mids than lows).

I only go low also. I've got a pair of Hyperdunk Lows. They're pretty decent.

Couple of times I've forgotten the Hyperdunk Lows and had to wear my Nike Trainer Free 5.0 kind of like these http://www.zappos.com/nike-free-trainer-5-0-game-royal-tide-pool-blue-photo-blue-white and like they are surprisingly good. Now actually kin of prefer them.

I'm really late - how did the cross trainers work? It seems like tennis shoes would work pretty well.

these are great too- same shoe different colorway (golden state)

it's the flywire that makes them so expensive.

if i were buying a pair of i'd buy those durants you linked. if i didn't want to spend that much, i'd find a pair of the black Air Force Max 2013's on sale. the fab 5 wore them.

I wear mids now and they do nothing for me with ankle support (but they do restrict my movement and kind of cut off my circulation if I tie them too tight and are kind of clunky). My ankles are strong, I play all the time, and I've played in lows before with zero ankle problems.
