Cassel is way more turnover prone.  I'm not going to argue that Smith is "good," but he does his job against most teams.   He's good enough to keep us on the cusp of the playoffs every single year.

There is no one better that we could have gotten, and no one better that we can get until next year.  And even then, it's going to be a "draft and sit" kind of deal for awhile.

big whoop.  in the nfl you just need to make the playoffs and anything can happen.  seeds don't matter.

Yeah they did. Chiefs were the first team to offer him a contract, reportedly for more money than what he signed with Denver for. Manning's camp just lol'd and didn't even dignify it with a return phone call if I remember correctly.

As Chiefs fans you guys should be thrilled even after last night's loss. Chiefs D did pretty good, they let your team play on national TV, and they're still going to the playoffs which is pretty much the highest achievement the franchise should expect to achieve. They may very likely end up with the top seed, and if they're really, really lucky, maybe even win a playoff game. So I don't know what you guys are bitching about.

I am somewhat encouraged, we could generate almost no pass rush and Denver only scored 27, the rematch in what should be one of the greatest home crowds in Arrowhead history will only bring that number down.
