Alright back to my other topic: Alex Smith never throws to D Bowe, like except only a couple times. What's the deal?

i do not know the answer to this. i would say that the best defenders are always guarding bowe, but every other team seems to be able to find their best receiver.

everyone thought crabtree was a huge bust until kaepernick took over last year. smith doesn't have the arm or mindset to challenge corners down the field

On the other hand, he is turning McGrath into the next Vernon Davis though.

i don't really think geno smith is going to be a long term solution for anyone, and i'm glad we didn't draft him.

maybe i'm just a hater.

gotta be honest. i kinda like the idea of tyler bray learning under alex smith. i would rather that the chiefs had drafted an a-1 stud to start from day one, but i'm willing to see how bray turns out. smith better not start for the chiefs beyond next season though.
This. Bray has a better arm than Geno and I have ridiculous hopes for him after a few years with Reid. Especially now that this D is making it look like drafting a QB high will be pretty unlikely.

Manage games very very well and is able to use his feet.  With Reids offense you don't need a cannon.  And he's had 6-7 different offensive coordinators in 9 years and almost as many HC's?  My point is I think he'll be very serviceable and be successful until we can hit paydirt in the draft at some point.

I just like how people complain about the QB position regardless unless you have Tom Brady/Peyton/Brees.

Would the Chiefs be better off with Geno Smith?

Are the Jets better off with Geno Smith?

Than Sanchez? Absolutely. What I'm asking, MissouriCat, is should the Chiefs have drafted that Geno instead of trading for Alex? I think the answer is a big yes. We might be not 5-0 now, but better in the long run.

#NFLDraft

I think they should have gone ahead and drafted him in the second round and let him develop behind Alex for a year or two.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, I had forgotten how that all went down. I think they probably would have been better off in the long run using the pick on Geno than Alex, then. They wouldn't be nearly as good this year, but they would have better position going into the next draft and have a much higher ceiling at QB. Potential doesn't always get met, though, and this year has been a lot of fun. Losing Geno might have been worth it after having to put up with the last few years.

Anyone who doesn't want the season we are having right now so that we might look better on paper in the future needs to just get out.

I would really love to go to the Chiefs game Sunday. If you have an extra (I'm looking at you 'blast and mocat) I'd love to go. In fact, I recently came across some juicy news about this guy named Tyler Hughes. If you give me a Chiefs ticket, I'll share it with you.

In conclusion: I can tomahawk chop better than any premium member of goEMAW.com. If you don't believe me take me to your Chiefs game suite and I'll prove it at high noon on Sunday.
