Our receivers are trash.   Not sure what some of you want Alex Smith to do about that.

the same thing sams did with our shitty receivers, hit them when they're open

why wouldn't they? i think it's safe to say he is still dominant, and the chiefs offense needs any help it can get, especially if that help would be personified by a guy who is always open (even when he's not)

The Falcons should absolutely take any shitty offer we give them.

I can't see Atlanta conceding their season already.  It's going to be super easy to get a wildcard in the NFC this year.

i'd say the Chiefs' chances to get Gonzo went from about 2% to about 20% last night

Would the Chiefs be better off with Geno Smith?

Than Sanchez? Absolutely. What I'm asking, MissouriCat, is should the Chiefs have drafted that Geno instead of trading for Alex? I think the answer is a big yes. We might be not 5-0 now, but better in the long run.

gotta be honest. i kinda like the idea of tyler bray learning under alex smith. i would rather that the chiefs had drafted an a-1 stud to start from day one, but i'm willing to see how bray turns out. smith better not start for the chiefs beyond next season though.

I think another offseason with Reid will be good for Alex.  If he can develop confidence he may be dangerous.

He never throws to D Bowe though. What is the deal with that?

can't really argue that we would be better with geno 4-8 years from now. but i think drafting a good qb in the next three years negates that.

Alright back to my other topic: Alex Smith never throws to D Bowe, like except only a couple times. What's the deal?

BITB thinks so, but he just doesn't want to admit he was wrong last year. Alex Smith gets a lot of crap and I still can't figure out why? especially after what we've went through with that position.

I'd be happy to tell you why. He either can't or won't throw to wide receivers except little crossing routes to Avery.
