Do we try to retain Bowe or go after someone else via draft or FA?  I'm not sold on Baldwin at all

I don't think he's horrible but you can't turn the ball over 8 times a game like he does.  If that wasn't an issue I wouldn't mind him, it would be an upgrade from the current situation at least

Vick is a fine backup as long as the money isn't huge(don't know where his contract is at).

As for Bowe, keep him. Would be fantastic w dece 2 option on the other side of field and a good QB.

If Andy Reid does end up talking only to the Chiefs and taking that job, to reiterate from earlier this week, GM Scott Pioli will be out

Would take Vick along with a QB drafted in the 1st or 2nd round.

Oh man.  Reid was already a Chief and he didn't even know.

Trade down and get a QB in the 2nd/3rd.

Or get the Clowney kid out of So. Carolina.

Either or.

Clowney says he's staying in school.  Also, the Chiefs really dont need anymore damn DLs.  Would take Jarvis Jones though.

Clowney is a true sophomore.  Not eligible until next year   :frown:

Maybe that's why he "said he's staying in school"

I caught a bit about what they were saying regarding the GM on 810 this morning. It's whoever is at Cleveland now, and he was at Philly for a long time. Drafted McNabb when there were a few other QB's that people said should go before him, but none of them turned out well. The best of the 3 was Dante Culpepper. Also drafted Richardson this past year, which obviously turned out well, I'm just not sure there was any competition for them to take someone else with their pick.

I guess he's done a good job of evaluating QBs, has gone after guys who people thought should go in the 7th round but he took them pretty early and they ended up being pretty good. So, hopefully that's who ends up replacing Pioli.

Looks more and more like Andy is Clark's choice. I'm good with that, as long as Clark shows Pioli the door.

I worry a bit about this because the dude was like head of personnel with Philly before becoming GM in Cleveland.  Sounds a bit too much like Pioli's history for my liking.

Don't most GMs come from being head of personnel?

Hearing that the Reid hiring is offical, and that "long time Green Bay personnel man John Dorsey appears headed to KC to 'work with Andy Reid [presumably as GM].'"

Dunno but that particular guy has already been fired from his GM job with the Browns.
