Clark Hunt says he wants a "proven winner." Guess he changed his mind after hiring Romeo for this year. Don't get me wrong, I like Romeo's past defenses, but he wasn't a "proven winner"...except for going 2-1 as interim HC the last three games of 2011. Here's hoping he doesn't hire another retread like Norv Turner, etc. Ignore the good 'ol boys retread network, Clark, and hit this one out of the park. You have the $$.

Reid would be a decent hire, but I wouldn't go crazy about it. I'm an Eagles fan and I was pretty happy to see him go. Jim Johnson doesn't get near enough credit for the amazing defenses he created throughout Reid's time in Philly. As soon as Johnson died, the defense was garbage and the Eagles weren't the force they were in the last decade. Reid even made his OL coach the DC at the start of this year, which really is pretty Chiefeo, so maybe he'll be a great fit.

Yeah, I would take him over pioli in a heart beat, but I would take most sports ppl over him at this point too.

Hire Vick now, regardless if Reid comes or not.  Then try to find someone better in the draft AND in FA.  We need a good three options to review on the same field and compete for the job, and right now we don't have one of the three on the squad.  So, take vick, one in the draft, and trade for one.
