Yeah, but not in the last 5 or 6 years. I had a great time. I think there are way more tuck chief fans than their are tuck wildcat fans. It makes for a lot of fun. Tailgates are outstanding for people watching. I guess the extra 25k people add to what you are likely to see while tailgating.

So anyways, enough bitching about what could have been, I thought Cassel looked alright for the first pre season game of the year. I have hope.  :crossfingers:

I'm with Fanning!

don't do it guys. he didn't throw a pass beyond 8 yards the other night.

But he didn't want to choke out his coach, so things are looking up.

So you hate the Chiefs, the Royals, and KSU hoops right?

Been to at least 1 or 2 games every year for probably the last 20.  The stadium was way more intense in the mid 90s, now its much more Kid Rock-ish.

I like watching NFL on TV.  I mean, if I wanted the stadium experience I would just go drink in Cabella's parking lot for a few hours and then hit Backfire BBQ up on the way home.

The stadium experience used to be irreplaceable but now everyone has giant flatscreens.  Also, easily reachable restrooms, central HVAC, no traffic, no risk of DUIs, etc.  Oh, and I can flip channels during commercials and halftime.  I'm lucky to make it to one game a year but I can watch every game on my couch.    :driving: :drink:

i'd never been to a chiefs game before in my life, until the last two seasons and for some reason i decided i was going to the like the chiefs, so i went to a few games each season. i think chiefs games are god's gift to rednecks and alcoholics. i, for one, think they're absolutely fantastic.

is anyone going to the season opener against the falcons?!? see ya there!

I did when I was growing up probably about 93 or 94 until 2001 I went to most of them before Dad got mad at Carl Peterson and didn't renew. Absolutely loved it. My first game I remember clearly was Montana vs. Young, and I was at the Lin Elliot / Steve Bono game :bawl:. Since then I've only been to about one every year or two. Tailgating Chiefs games is a lot of fun, but it's not the same as a Cats tailgate. More like Cats games in the west lot only redneckier.

I went to a game vs Buffalo, probably in 02, and a really drunk guy behind me was yelling at Marc Boerigter (sp?) the entire game, calling him Boa Constrictor. Both drunk him and 15 year old me thought it was the funniest thing ever.

In 1992 I went to the Raiders game (as a Raiders fan) and some drunk guy threw up on my dad's friend.  Was pretty awful.

This didn't happen to me, but it's still a good Chiefs story.  Back in the day they had those long trough urinals in the upper deck.  A guy I know was standing there when another guy goes down to the end of the trough, looking down the trough longways and starts taking a leak.  He had some sunglasses on top of his head.  Mid-leak they fall off into the trough.  They sit there for another 15 seconds, he finishes up, reaches into the trough, pulls them out and immediately puts them back on.  He just  :gocho: and walked back out.
