stupidity isn't charming. neither are terrified checkdowns game after game after game.
the quick/short passing game in new england with welker/hernandez works because brady will throw it over your head on the sidelines and up the seam if you cheat up. cassell won't.
thus, cap'n checkdown will ensure that the defenses cheat up and stop the short passes for minimal gains and clog the running lanes.
