I want the Chiefs to do well, but I am not going to pretend that just because they've actually had a a few really good regular seasons in the last FORTY that they're not still one of the most underperforming and frankly worst franchises in the NFL.  From 72 to 89 they only made the playoffs once.  In the last 13 years they've only made the playoffs 3 times, 18 years since their last playoff win.  Since 1972 they're 291-309 in the regular season.

Even going by your "only championships matter" logic, the chiefs are still a better franchise than the Bills, Eagles, Browns, Jets, Seahawks, Lions, Jaguars, Texans, Chargers, Falcons, Titans, Panthers, and Cardinals. They are a middle of the road franchise.
I didn't strike out your stupid arguments for the expansion teams who have 30+ years less than KC to win a championship, but I should have.

The Bills and Eagles have never won a championship, and the Chiefs have won one more recently than the Jets. Good runs don't matter at all, obviously, and those expansion teams have done nothing to set them apart from the Chiefs.

EDIT: I also forgot the Vikings and Bengals, 2 more franchises who are worse than the Chiefs.

The bills in their small as crap market have gone to more super bowls than Kansas City.  Congrats, the Chiefs won a championship back when no one cared about the NFL.

They never won. Going to 2 and winning 1 is better than going to 4 and losing them all.

Gong to 1 in the 90's > going to 2 in the 60's, but only if you win.

Great, well let's just roll back the clock to the 1960's then, heck the Texans/Chiefs made the AFL playoffs 4 out of 10 seasons back then.

I'm not saying winning a superbowl in the 60's is impressive. It's just more impressive than never winning one at all.

Going to four straight is more impressive than winning 1 at any time.

As I keep saying, the numbers don't lie, over the last 4 decades the Chiefs are below .500 in the regular season, they've had large stretches when they haven't made the playoffs, and outside of 1 year, when they have made the playoffs, they haven't done anything.

That's rather a hard feat to pull off the way the NFL has generally been structured over a significant period.

LOL, no. I would have much rather been a Redskins fan during that 4 year stretch than a Bills fan.

Well, the 90's/00's did treat us much better than the 70's/80's.

It's not impressive to have a team in the super bowl 4 years straight?  Especially when the Chiefs* were in their conference?

It's very impressive - but pure torture for the fans. I'm not sure I could handle that.

That's who.  Good lord, it's a good thing Denver has Champ Bailey, I don't know how we'd be able to stop him.

Lots of dudes getting crazy deals so far.  Guess the teams are taking the money saved from rookie contracts and giving it to veteran dudes.  Does KC need a very talented but poorly motivated LT?  Vikings released Bryant McKinnie...
