If you had one chance to convince someone to like the 2014 chiefs, what would your pitch be?

jamaal. we don't know how many plays he has left. so watch him run now, while you can. because he's beautiful.

Jamaal Charles is one of the few sports figures that I have never understood why everyone love him so much. I'm not trolling. Every chiefs fan drools over him, and I think he's a very nice player.

sure. he has the highest yards per carry of any halfback in history. sure. but it's more than that, he runs with a grace and style. he's part athlete and part artist out there. i love him. aside from barry, he's my favorite running back of all-time, and sometimes i wonder if i even love him more than barry.

I'm seriously not trying to bash jamaal charles. He's a great player. He's just never been a must see guy for me. Maybe it's because he was a running back for some of the worst teams kc has ever seen. I really wish he could trade places with Larry Johnson.

I think he's under appreciated by the national media also. When you hear them talk about the best running backs in the game right now they usually include him but it seems to be Adrian Peterson, LeSean McCoy, sometimes even Gore and Lynch, them oh yea there's Jamaal Charles. Combined with that, outside of Peterson, the best RBs take a backseat to even mid level QBs & WRs in "importance" in the NFL right now and it's easy to forget that one of the most exciting players in football plays in KC.

this kind of zeal shows me that not all hope is lost for chiefs fans. it only needs to be redirected from the stupid part of their idiot brains to the smart part. they want a great qb. they really do. they just don't know it exactly. but zeal like this... zeal like this is the starting point.

16 years after john elway retired. the same amount of years that he actually played the game, mind you. 16 years later. they are still burning his jersey. now let's redirect this zeal, passion and hatred into bullying the franchise into finally, finding a hall of fame qb of their own. because i don't want to come back here 16 years from now and watch videos of fans burning peyton jerseys too. behold.
