I'd still rather be the Chiefs. They'll be favored in all three games coming in—including two at home, where they are 6-0—with all games against teams with sub-.500 records.

But yeah, if the Chiefs slip up, the Chargers will be celebrating a fifth straight AFC West title.

Then again, I've got a hunch the Bengals give them some trouble.

Don't look now, but the Jets are falling apart. They're 9-4 after losing today to Miami.

The Jets have 0 TD's in their last 8 quarters. Sanchez has been awful. Last seven weeks: 8 TD's, 11 INT's and nine fumbles (four today). Rex Ryan considered benching him today in favor of 40-year-old Mark Brunell.

Next up: @ Pitt. Jets will be 6-point dogs.
After that: @ Bears. Jets will be 3-point dogs.
Then: vs. Bills (hey, anything can happen.)

I'd say there's at least a 50-50 chance that the Jets are 9-6 entering week 17.

If the Ravens lose at Houston tomorrow night, they'll have my attention.
A loss puts them at 8-5 with two games upcoming against New Orleans and at Cleveland.

Both the Jets and Ravens have the Chiefs owned on tiebreaker, meaning KC would have to finish ahead of both in the standings.

Likely? No. Possible? Yes.

KC's best route to the playoffs is obviously winning three games and taking down the West. But it'd be nice to get a little help and have a few outs via the Wild Card come week 16 or 17.

Don't care if this has been mentioned . . . B. Croyle is the kind of QB you want parading his hot wife around at the X-Mas party, but not starting for your team . . . 0-10 as a starter.

I've never cared much about how many wins a QB has. Football is too much of a team game to focus on one player like that.

But yeah, Croyle sucks.
