Raiders traded a 5th round pick and a conditional (6th or 7th I think?) pick for Matt Flynn.

Let's play a game... Would you rather the Chiefs have traded a 5th and a 7th for Matt Flynn instead of the two 2nd's for Alex Smith?

I'm still happy with the Smith deal. Less of an unknown. QB is not something we should be taking a huge risk on unless it's drafting one.

Of course. When trading for a loser back up (Flynn, Smith, etc.) 4th round pick is the highest you should go.

Kiser thinks the Chiefs are going to trade down to Detroit's five spot. Doesn't say what they would obtain in exchange. Also, Albert was given permission to speak with Miami about a possible trade, he's also from that area.

If we got Detroits 1 and 2 I would say go for it. Otherwise lets take Luke. Trade Albert for a 2nd and 6th.

I've thought Fisher looked better and more versatile from the very limited clips I've seen, but it's hard to ignore the fact that Joeckel looked amazing guarding NFL bound defensive ends all season. Fisher and Joeckel will both be great though, so I'm not sure it matters.

I don't know enough/study enough film about LTs to have an opinion. I'm fine with whatever they think.

I just want this damn Albert trade to get done so I can start speculating on the 2nd round pick. Once they trade Albert, almost eliminates the possibility of trading the #1. Have to take a LT and I would imagine you have to be in the top 5 to feel secure about getting one.
