It went up YOY but was what the NFL had projected so it really doesn't change anything from a couple of days ago.

Should reduce the cap significantly.  I would assume we are still aiming for DE in the draft as well as S.  I'd assume Sorenson is gone.

We're paying Frank 1.5m over his dead money number, from what I've seen which is better than any alternative.  People complaining about that are dumb.  As mocat said, complain about the initial trade or contract but this is a win.

Yea I see this as a positive.  If Frank can contribute at a higher level than last year then it will be worth it.  We weren't going to go out and sign some badass with the hit he was giving us.  We'll still hit the draft hard for DE....maybe even trade up.

I can't wait to see what new weapon we get Mahomes via free agency or the draft. They were talking about getting Jarvis Landry on a 1 year deal today on 810/610 and I would be all for that.

A couple of years ago I was on team "Mahomes will make anyone a superstar so fill his WR core with scrubs" but that is alot less fun than having Sammy Watkins or Kareem Hunt as your 3rd/4th best option. Lets set some scoreboards on fire again.
