IMO, Cassel is an above average QB with a competent person calling the plays (not Haley)
Oh, these guys are still around?

Just two years ago he threw 27 TD's and 7 INT's and made the Pro Bowl. He isn't great but I think that he's proven he is above average.

you're looking at the wrong stats. also, tell me, which teams with winning records did he beat that year?

agree, love how hard he runs and quickly he gets up field.  It is hard to believe he was a walk on.

Didn't he get tackled by Hartman at one point?

FWIW I'm no Brady Quinn fan, but he looked serviceable. Probably the best back up we've had in awhile.

they both suck. this team could be really good. but qb is going to hold them back.

the o-line and defense look pretty scary

KC would be a super bowl contender with Manning.

Yeah, Chiefs are good, better than I thought.  11-5, win division, host wildcard playoff round game.  Lose 24-21 to Peyton Manning's Broncos.

Mark it down.

I don't see the Chiefs winning the division over the Broncos. I'm standing by 9-7 and no playoffs.

The Chiefs had no shot at RG3, though. All they had to do to get Manning was put petty differences aside in the front office and pony up.
