Need to pickup a QB this week to cover a bye. Garrard vs. Tex. or Fitzpatrick vs. Det.

Tex. pass Defense is horrible, but Garrard is very inconsistent. He will either put up huge numbers or nothing.
Fitzpatrick seems pretty reliable, but just lost Roscoe Parrish to injury. I'm leaning to Fitz, thoughts??

btw, Cassel, Henne, Bradford, Young, Mcnabb are all available as well.

I picked up Young for my bye with Rodgers. Adding Moss is just going to open up the field for everyone else and Young went into week 9 as the top rated passer in the NFL with a 103.1 QB rating.

Fitzpatrick is a solid option against Detroit too though. Garrard is too much risk in his inconsistency in my opinion.

wasn't sure if Young was going to be healthy enough, but i will think that one over. Also, I have Steve Johnson, so if I get Fiztpatrick, i'm kinda putting all my eggs in one basket. I might not wanna do that.

Garrard isn't a bad one week option.  He faces Houston.  Even Matt Cassel lit Houston's pass D up.

Changed my mind on Young. Saw that Tennessee is only throwing the ball like 20 times a game. I'm gonna go with Fitzpatrick throwing 35-40 times a game and against Detroit's piss poor pass defense.

That's what i did. Hopefully he continues on what he has been doing.

Question of the week,

Peyton Manning @NE or Matt Ryan @ STL?  Got burned by Peyton last week and lost a close game when Matt Ryan would have helped me bury the other guy.

I would consider Manning un-benchable, although Ryan is very viable option as well.

I won one of my espn league games 112-6 this week.  The other guy hadn't been paying attention since early in the season (still had Ryan Grant starting).  Most of his starters were Saints or Packers, both on byes.  Only Berrian and Ricky Williams were active, and Berrian got no catches.  I had Vick among others.

Is it a good idea to start two receivers from the same team?  Miles Austin and Dez Bryant are the two in question. I also have Gates (in our league we don't have TEs, so I start him as a receiver), Steve Johnson and Reggie Wayne. Thinking about starting Austin, Bryant and Wayne.

I'd probably start Gates over one of the boycows.

crap i don't know. Gates may won't be at full strength and might not even play next week. And the cowboys have momentum. That being said Gates is probably THE fantasy player so far this season.

I have to make a decision on a flex position....so it can either be a WR or a RB. PPR. I have to choose between...

Bess vs. Chi
Branch vs Ind
Green-Ellis vs Ind
Reggie Bush vs Sea

I've been going with Bess, as he has been very consistent until this week when he lost his No. 1 and 2 QBs.Tyler Thigpen is his QB this week. Not sure i can trust Bush yet, since this is his first game back, but he is projected higher than anyone. I'm leaning towards Branch since he is healthy. Thoughts?

I'd give the law firm some serious thought this week v. Indy's terrible run defense.

Good thing I didn't start Steve Johnson. He would only have gotten me 31 points. No biggie.

Sunday's aren't even a day off for me, because I just stress about fantasy football. I suppose I only have myself to blame.

not if you're relying on it.  seems to be the way it goes.

Yes, I'm relying on it, unfortunately, in two leagues.  If he gets 80 yards (or 8 pts), I win both.  I figure a pulled hammy in the 1st qtr will take care of it.

I'm needing 16 points out of Rivers and Moreno tonight. Feeling OK at the moment.

Probably game-time decision.  Watch pregame shows and they should have more.  Plan on being available to switch it just before kick if Gates can't go.

I'd like to thank Philip Rivers for downing the ball twice at the end of the game and giving me a 131.10 to 131.02 victory.
