Welp, Britt mumped me over. Stupid injury. Still came out all right. I ended up sitting Branch, which was a good call.

I got two RBs on a bye, so i need to pick up 1 off waviers. Yahoo is really projecting Blount to dominate the next couple games, but i'm skeptical. I think Green-Ellis may be a more reliable pickup. Thoughts?

Green-Ellis. I keep thinking to pick him up but I have Chris Johnson and Steven Jackson, so it's kind of pointless for me.

Sometimes you pick good players up and dump that backup kicker, TE or something just so someone else can't have them.

double true on this. if i see a dangerous player and i have a person on my bench who will never see the light of day i will pick up the dangerous player in a heartbeat. so 1) like sanchez said, no one else can have him and he won't come back to hurt me and 2) trade value later on down the line.

In our league you can only have so many at each position, or I probably would.

need some suggestions.

have a decision to make for this week

the need: make a decision to play 1 more running back alongside adrian peterson.

the choices:

ahmad bradshaw playing seattle
peyton hillis playing new england
legarrette blount playing atlanta.

right now i have settled on bradshaw. anyone think of any reason i shouldn't play bradshaw?

that's a toughie. Bradshaw probably a good play. Jacobs doesn't steal too many touchdowns from him, does he?

Hillis has been badass in my league...he has quite a few catches.

Yeah, the number of catches that Hillis gets makes him worth it.

bradshaw has been fairly consistent. and has gotten a ton of carries over jacobs. all three of teams i'm going against are top 10 in rush defense. however seattle gives up a lot of points, especially against a balanced team. i always like having a qb that is competent beside a rb.

i would love to use hillis but he belongs to a fairly one dimensional team. and the pats are well coached enough to where i think they may shut him down a little. but hillis is pretty incredible.

blount is a risk move but the upside is huge, however atl has the best rush defense of the 3 teams.

so one vote for hillis and one vote for bradshaw.

I'm starting Wayne, but should I start Miles Austin or Brandon Marshall beside him? The idea that Marshall should have a break out game soon, but Austin is the safer bet. Think Austin may have a down week against Green Bay, but will probably end up getting 35-40% of the looks from Kitna. Marshall could easily be overshadowed by Bess, which happens everytime I start him.

Thoughts?

gotta look at qb production. i would give the nod to marshall. it seems like the cowboys are falling down a black hole and won't get out of it this week. marshall is a top 3 (in NFL) receiver imo.

Is Blount still an option? Picking him up with G-E may be the best bet.

nope. McGahee has been pretty consistent. I'm leaning him right now, hoping he will steal a touchdown away from Rice.

Spiller has had one good game all year, Last week was respectable because of his catches. Not sure i can take a chance on him.

Yeah, Johnson and Jackson had a bye week, so I picked up G-E and played him along Hillis. Thank God Hillis dominated.

Need to pickup a QB this week to cover a bye. Garrard vs. Tex. or Fitzpatrick vs. Det.

Tex. pass Defense is horrible, but Garrard is very inconsistent. He will either put up huge numbers or nothing.
Fitzpatrick seems pretty reliable, but just lost Roscoe Parrish to injury. I'm leaning to Fitz, thoughts??

btw, Cassel, Henne, Bradford, Young, Mcnabb are all available as well.

I picked up Young for my bye with Rodgers. Adding Moss is just going to open up the field for everyone else and Young went into week 9 as the top rated passer in the NFL with a 103.1 QB rating.

Fitzpatrick is a solid option against Detroit too though. Garrard is too much risk in his inconsistency in my opinion.

wasn't sure if Young was going to be healthy enough, but i will think that one over. Also, I have Steve Johnson, so if I get Fiztpatrick, i'm kinda putting all my eggs in one basket. I might not wanna do that.

Definitely Young or Fitzpatrick. Since the Bills are always losing, they are always passing. And with Evans and Johnson, he's got options. But you make a good point about having Johnson as a receiver, so maybe Young is worth a shot. Just not a guarantee that they'll be passing the entire game like Fitzpatrick will be.
