i think the offense will be productive without Massoli (with Massoli the O would be one of the tops in the league), a steady diet of DT with a mix of play action, screen game, and short yardage option. Klein is big and strong and will be a serviceable game manager also his experience at WR and QB abilities of DT, Harper, and Brod Smith allow for numerous wildcat opportunities.
on defense you lose fitzgerald but get harold and kadero back and supplement with a number of juco athletes. as a result we should be deeper and more effective up front (i.e. no more using 4th string QB's to try to generate a pass rush). LB's are a question mark Hrebec should be good and hopefully Marley, Bumpas, Slaughter, Vulture, or Berard will develop to provide quality play and depth. Also Jerrell Childs and Tre Walker are wildcards at the LB position who could have significant impacts. in the secondary the starters should be legit, with our safeties (if healthy) being one of the better tandems in the league. depth will be an issue imo in the secondary so staying healthy will be a key (ps i think Ty Zimmerman could have a breakout year if the opportunity exists). speaking with coach burns leads me to believe we will play a lot of hard press and use the front 7 to generate pressure, so our ability to generate a pass rush may decide the fate of our secondary play
