I recommend VLC, it will play just about anything: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Alternative: if you want Windows Media Player, or any player on your system, to play pretty much everything, install one of the K-Lite Codec Packs (I recommend the Mega version): http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm (it also comes with its own player)

Either of these options will play DivX files and much much more.

Just click on the torrent link on Pirate Bay, and then in the dialogue that pops up in uTorrent, save to the folder containing K-State Confidential. uTorrent will check the file to make sure it is all there then will begin seeding.

well, just finished watching confidential. finally seeing it all together... just wow. i had to skip through the butler game but i'm glad i saw the end. i may have teared up just a little at the airport scene and frank's wife getting all emotional.

that's one great thing about torrents, you will just pick up where it dropped off.

It depends on how many seeds there are, how many peers are downloading, how fast everyone's connections are, etc. The speeds you get on BitTorrent range from excruciatingly slow to blistering fast. In general the more seeds the better.

Also, you'll want to limit your upload bandwidth to 80% of what your ISP gives you. That's considered the "sweet spot" with torrents. Any more and it can slow down your downloading. In uTorrent you can do this in Options > Setup Guide.

Also, make sure you got a green checkmark in the status bar of uTorrent and not a yellow warning symbol. I don't want to get into specifics now (Google it if you want) but downloading will be faster with the green checkmark.

That's all I can think of offhand to help everyone's torrenting go faster.

Did it eventually finish? One thing that sometimes helps if it's stuck is to close uTorrent (you have to do it from the system tray) and then restart it.

I noticed a peer downloading from Mexico earlier, was that you?

Some poor schmuck in Taiwan has been downloading since this (Wednesday) morning and he's stuck at 28%. Methinks he's got technical issues.
