I'd been relatively indifferent about the Sutton matter until this post.  Now I'm all angried up.

Is BitTorrent supposed to download the torrent really slow?  At the rate its going it will probably take 1-2 hours to download.

It depends on how many seeds there are, how many peers are downloading, how fast everyone's connections are, etc. The speeds you get on BitTorrent range from excruciatingly slow to blistering fast. In general the more seeds the better.

Also, you'll want to limit your upload bandwidth to 80% of what your ISP gives you. That's considered the "sweet spot" with torrents. Any more and it can slow down your downloading. In uTorrent you can do this in Options > Setup Guide.

Also, make sure you got a green checkmark in the status bar of uTorrent and not a yellow warning symbol. I don't want to get into specifics now (Google it if you want) but downloading will be faster with the green checkmark.

That's all I can think of offhand to help everyone's torrenting go faster.

That's how to get the green checkmark if you don't already have it. (http://portforward.com/) I think most people should have the green checkmark though, because uTorrent forwards ports automatically for routers that support UPnP or NAT port mapping protocol. I assume other BitTorrent clients do this as well.

On the filedropper site it says 0 KB and there is an error when I try to download. Anyone else experiencing this? Maybe the site doesn't like that I'm using Opera, but I kinda doubt it...

Worked for me even through my company's firewall and using I.E. 6, downloaded at about 1Mb/sec.

I have the '03 B12 championship digital and a few DOD-era games on VHS I've thought about digitizing.  I've had a HD PVR/HD Tuner for only a few years.

There is a torrent client I could download for it but I haven't.  I can watch the video on my EVO

Ya just use a program called Doubletwist to sync your itunes and if you have a DVD then use Handbrake to rip it to your hard drive then just plug your EVO into your PC and drag the movie onto the EVO.
