thx.  i downloaded bittorrent.  pasted in the address above under: file/add torrent from url.  the green line moves about half a cm, then an error message saying "error 'hostname not found' while downloading url" pops up.

sys, the address above is for a web page, not a torrent. You need to click on the address and it will take you to that web page. Then click "Click here to download the torrent," under "Download this torrent" near the bottom of the page, and your bittorrent client should start up with a dialogue. Choose where you want to save the file and hit OK. Try that and let us know how it goes. It should work fine.

BTW, the official BitTorrent client is a rebranded uTorrent. That happened a few years ago.

sys, I'm normally totally about making crap like this work, but I've managed to have it work perfectly and gave already gotten the k-state confidential and 2 ncaa games (and am now "seeding") and am in the process of getting the 2 big 12 tourney games.

I downloaded uTorrent.  Then clicked on each linked on each page in this thread, clicked on the "download this torrent" link (not the anonymous or text ones) which downloaded some small file w/the game title into my download folder.  I then clicked on those files and everything started going automatcially in uTorrent.

That means you are sharing it from your computer with everyone else that's trying to download it.  It's done and is on your computer and available to view.  You are just helping everyone else out by seeding.  It will never quit unless you stop it.
