What kind of soup should I cook with this? (The white spot at 3 o'clock is a bone.

Not sure how much you got but I'd consider making a bunch of stock and freezing it and then making all kinds of great soup

This has got to be the answer, unless it’s way more meat than bone (and actually good meat).

roast that and simmer with a halved onion, rough chopped celery/carrots, herbs and halve a head of garlic and simmer that all day.

Those things have incredibly rich beef flavor. I made this a few weeks ago and was pretty pleased with how it turned out (you have skip thru about 10 paragraphs of crunchy claptrap about the wonders of "bone broth" to get to the actual recipie). I've seen some recipies for something called "oso bucco" out there that look good too

People act like poached eggs are crazy hard to make but I'd argue they're the easiest if you know how to get water to barely simmer and have ramekins

We made some enchiladas and beans tonight that turned out really good. I cooked the chicken and then cubed it. Ms TBT took some enchilada sauce and added some garlic, crushed red pepper, oregano and a couple other things to it. Then she dipped it in the sauce and lightly fried the tortillas in oil and I put chicken in them and rolled them and put them in the pan. Topped with the rest of the sauce and put some cheese on top and put it in the oven for a bit to melt the cheese.

She roasted some garlic and then added the beans, cheese and onions. Definitely how I’m making beans going forward.

A better way of cooking bacon exploded into my awareness when Ms TBT made it one morning like this.

Pair that with some eggs and guys, it’s gonna be a good day. Also the weather is incred.

I cut 1 lb package of bacon in half and fry half in one batch and half in another.  It's great.

Baking just takes a long time and I kinda like moving the bacon around to get it evenly cooked while I listen to a podcast  and drink coffee

You can pry my bacon skillet from my cold dead hands. 100% team fry it in a pan then pour the bacon grease over the mutts kibble.

My parents have a tray (that I've only ever seen them use to cook bacon) that they will use to cook bacon in the microwave. Makes a ton of bacon and the grease drains down the sides. Legitimately works great.

only problem there is the radiation bacon that happens when you cook it at 100% power (radiation).
