According to former Mars executive Alfred Poe, PB Max was discontinued due to the Mars family's distaste for peanut butter despite $50 million in sales.

Early television commercials for PB Max declared that the "PB" in its name didn't stand for things such as piggy banks, polka band, portly ballerina, platinum blonde, penguin black belt, pig basketball, plow boy, pure bliss, parachuting buffalo, or pink baboon — but that it, in fact, stood for peanut butter.

I've never heard of somebody older than 10 eating creamy peanut butter. Smuckers All-Natural is fine, if you want to waste 15 minutes of your life stirring it up when you could just be enjoying peanut butter.

Now that we have established that Jif Crunchy is best, what do you like to eat with your peanut butter?

1. PB and saltine sandwiches with cold milk
2. PB and triscuit sandwiches with cold milk
3. PB on waffles with maple syrup
4. PB and J (Jif Crunchy and Welch's grape jelly slathered on whole wheat bread)

I feel like grape PBJs are a Kansas thing, and everywhere else the expectation is strawberry.
Smuckers strawberry jam is a close 2nd behind Welch's grape jelly for PBJs

Grape Jam > Jelly

What is the difference between Strawberry Jam and Preserves? I’ve always enjoyed preserves
I can't preserve my d*ck up your ass.

i regret to inform everybody that making peanut butter at home is incredibly easy, quick, and rewarding.
the peanut butter does not come out crunchy, however, by making it, you yourself do feel crunchy.

You sir just blew my mind. It'd like some data like the dialect study done on this
Then why is goober (smuckers premixed pb and jelly) predominantly grape jelly.

Strawberry is far superior in everyway when making PB&J. Also crunchy peanutbutter ftw

Then why are PB M&Ms still available. Will never forgive Mars for getting rid of Pretzel M&M's. Whoever made that decision I would love to have some words with them on why they could do such a crude thing....

We ran out of Members Mark™ Natural No Stir Creamy Peanut Butter midweek. I didn't want to go to Sam's just for peanut butter so I did a Target pick up order. Got it home and I accidentally ordered crunchy.

Question for crunchy pb lovers:  Why do you hate yourself?

If the only thing available is creamy then I just sprinkle in some peanuts to make it edible.

I'm sorry I said anything at all. I don't want to start up the creamy vs crunchy debate again. Just know that it's gross and I'm right.

It's crazy how the peanut flavor has been eradicated from the store bought peanut butter i have eaten my whole life. When you make it at home it almost tastes like peanuts right out of the shell at the ballpark. just use a little salt.

i refuse to eat any other pb except shell to table pb.  factory pb is for the birds.

only the best.
sure, it’s a little more work. i get it. but when you’re committed to the best shell to table pb, more work is is welcomed.

first thing, first though. you have to source the best peanuts, my peanut guy is the best, and it’s not even debatable.

dm me for details, link in bio.

I'm not really picky on the peanuts. One time I accidentally got a jar that had lots of msg and sugar and junk added which was a bummer. Usually they are plain and i add sea salt

Use only the finest peanut with baja gold and your nut butter will really be primo
