In the case at hand, the question on the firearm sales form was "Are an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?" 

Whew! I bought an 870 Wingmaster from Cabellas a couple years ago and vaguely recall answering that, but luckily I was not in active addition to alcohol.  All my other guns are inherited.

True. But that said, I certainly don't think that Don Trump is by any means perfect. But the fact is, there's been an orchestrated campaign to undermine him every step of the way by those who were actually doing what they've accused him of doing. There's a quote floating around out there that's been attributed to both Nazi and Communist leaders over there years. So the authenticity is questionable . . .  but it's to accuse your enemies of that in which you are doing. The East German Stasi had a methodology called Zersetuzung (attrition or corrosion) and part of that method was to continually engage in activities of de-legitimization against the alleged enemies of the state.

Even the very highest of #blueanon media sources have (for example) talked about the "missing" Russia-Russia-Russia file which some believe exposes the whole operation on the part of Don Trump's political enemies and that's the real reason behind this whole very overblown documents proceeding. While they protect their guy by going so far as to claim he's too mentally feeble to stand trial for his crimes in his years long mishandling of classified information.

I really dislike the question because people in recovery are still addicted. It should read "have you taken cocaine, meth, (insert other drugs stronger than marijuana), or had more than 4 alcoholic beverages within a 24 hour period at any time over the past 12 months?"
