lots to love about this picture but maybe my favorite part is the kentucky fans in the background learning about this nowell kid

We are beautiful. Our play-style, uniforms, players and coaches. Everything about us. This is the golden era of KSU sports, and we're just getting started. bball and football
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Big time players make big time shots!
Keyontae's step back three was so awesome. I was fist-pumping and yelling so much after that. My dog came to check on me.

At first I was like oh man I hope quis gets “little guy” tattooed behind his other ear for spite fuel but then I was like wait, no, we are fueled by love. Love conquers all.

I'm a little nervous about the other Wildcats, but maybe not a lot.  Just from my low-bbiq, it looks like they have one main dude and a bunch of guys that may or may not be dudes.  I feel like our dude can neutralize their dude, and then our other dude can have himself a game.

My other hot take is that they are our only challenge until the elite 8
I feel like I called my shot fairly well in the first post of this thread

I understand the Rupp fan board is as toxic as a Ohio train derailment if someone wants to put together an entertaining game thread.

N'Guessan and Tomlin gave it everything they had today and it was amazing.

I'm pretty low BBIQ but I saw some things out there that would lead me to believe Ish should also be credited for putting in work on the defensive end today. Our bigs / taller players all seemed to embrace the challenge today. Needs to be said.

My guy N'Guessan was constantly robbed by the refs more than any player in that game. Oscar lived on his back yet bro kept getting cheap calls against him. He ad astra'd tho

Yes, he got majorly screwed a few times. Still did great. He's so good at pushing tempo on offense too

Although TBH the refs were on our side in the first half before Cal turned the tide with his whining

When I saw that Gerry Pollard was working the game, I was happy as hell even though I can't stand his maga ass, he's worked like half of our games and he was awesome the first half. You're right though Cal working them clearly helped the first 15 minutes of the second half.

Kentucky fans are furious that Markquis patted Pollard on the butt. Their message board had someone asking for his personal info so they can do him like they did Higgins.

I’m just impressed that for most of the game the refs allowed some pretty physical play and we clearly got the better of it

Wackycat and I discussed this on twitter at halftime. I was sure that a tighter called second half would benefit us because we had more bodies inside. Nope.

I wish Wacky could be here to celebrate with us.  Hey mods, could we let Wacky come back for the rest of the tourney and just confine him to the bball board or something?

It seemed - at least in real time - like they could have easily called Kentucky for some of the stuff we were getting called for, but it wasn’t happening. I mean, they’re in the 1&1 with more than 10 minutes left in the half and with 1:30 left to play they had only been called for 3 (or 4?) fouls. I mean, c’mon
