Release the report or charge him with additional stuff.  Otherwise, everyone needs to stop speculating that what he did was super awful (whether it involved a girl or not).  Sounds like he went through his legal process and is on diversion.

Diversion agreements are not reached lightly.  A diversion specialist determined that Tomlin was unlikely to engage in another offense, so agreed to the diversion.

Sometimes diversions are offered when the prosecutor things there are some issues with the case that make winning at trial dicey, yet they still know the defendant absolutely did that crap and want some consequence/remedy. And sometimes those defendants agree to those diversions because while they might win at trial, the benefits of resolving with diversion make it not worth the gamble (and because they know they did that crap).

No idea/interest in this case, but I’ve seen a lot of leaps the past few days* as to what a diversion result means.

Probably, but he's probably in the wrong business if he doesn't expect these situations to pop up every once in a while with college kids. I'd bet lots of internet dollars that some Baylor guys got in some trouble while he was there and I'm sure he was pissed/disappointed and made them run their assess off, but the rough ridin' university president didn't come knocking on his or Drew's office.

Yes, there's definitely something else he did.  And no one can talk about it.  It's for sure it's a coincidence that it's the day that the President got butthurt and embarrassed that the AD decided on his own to kick him off the team.

There was never any issue with an agent, like was suspected. There have been two situations this semester that required an investigation. The first was cleared days before the 2nd took place, which was the bar situation and got amplified due to the first. But ultimately cleared as well.

None of us know crap apparently so it is what it is. My issue still is the president's involvement. Unless something really shitty comes out, other than being notified and made aware of the issue, he should have stayed the eff out of it. It would be different if Tang had been here for 5 years and this was a regular occurrence, but that def isn't the case. I could def see him getting involved then. If every issue like this that comes up needs to go through him and he has the final say, he obviously doesn't trust Tang or Gene, so he should get rid of them both because he thinks they are incompetent.

However, i'm just a dumb dumb that doesn't even really like basketball unless we are good, so what do i know?
