all of the suspicion people are displaying around this is really ugly

Yeah, journalists who were actually there said he collapsed in his chair and the Qatari paramedics treated him immediately. I'm sure his brother's video isn't helping, but that's a grieving relative and many of the people displaying ugliness likely don't care for his brother anyway. Our government will get his body and do a full autopsy, but I'm guessing the Qatari government didn't use some super spy methods to force Grant to collapse in his chair while in a press box with dozens of other people, surrounded by 80,000 more.

This is sad as hell though, he was a great journalist and by all accounts, a great dude.

Not sure what killed him but his health struggles in the last two weeks were documented by him pretty extensively.  Sounds like he even sought medical treatment a few days before dying.

some of these former players that fox is trying to roll out (donovan, dempsey) are just terrible tv personalities

I don't mind either of them. Donovan is much better in the studio than in the booth. Lalas is the one I can't stand. They should have used Maurice Edu more.

Imagine having a penalty kick and being so bad at soccer you kick it over the entire goal

Somone needs to tell them it only counts when it goes IN the goal.

Morocco defeating its imperial overlord France would be tasty.

I don't know if France is ready to enter the cauldron of hate that the stadium will be. Only chance for Morocco is scoring first or no goals, but their defense/keeper have been insanely good.

meh, didn't think there was anything that bad. they look like they can win it, they used some dumb motivation stuff to power them it is just very sterotypical sports stuff to me.

Shame Argentina didn’t let France hang around a bit longer, this one is over.
