It can be both at the same time, right? It’s certainly both. I’d argue that whatever our top industry was, it would be rife with grift…that’s where grifters go.

It can be both at the same time, right? It’s certainly both. I’d argue that whatever our top industry was, it would be rife with grift…that’s where grifters go.

Pete - we built a massive military prior to 9-11, then the  #neocons opened the taps even more  and the office parks around DC filled to the brim with hogs lining up at the trough.

I'm really confused by this whole thing dax. like, DC is a highly concentrated place with 1 industry. that number seems kinda puny to me given what that industry is. maybe you think differently but I'd be curious to hear why. like, people there don't deliver amazon packages and grubhub and whatever. not that those aren't important jobs, my burrito needs an uber for eff sakes, but just saying it doesn't seem strange to me.
