Dax, are you saying, in your opinion, the US should encourage Ukraine to just accept the Russian invasion and stop fighting?
No. He’s saying the us should have made Putin not invade in the first place. It’s our fault

I don't expect #neoconGe to do anything but deflect any all culpability away from their NeoCon leaders.

Nothing says we had nothing to do with it, like training to deal with it for nearly a decade.

Once upon a time the United States put the world on the brink of Nuclear War because we didn't like what was going on in Cuba.

Once upon a time the United States unleashed all kinds of human rights abuses because we didn't like those Commies being in Central America.

Ronnie Reagan sent the marines off for a Caribbean vacation because a few Cubans were in Grenada.

The list goes on for days.

The United States has constantly meddled in Ukraine including installing a rabid anti-Russian president by Coup.    The United States has trained Ukrainian militias for years.

Anybody who discussed taking a step back and re-thinking our whole strategy in Ukraine was labeled a Putin Puppet.   These same people have said for a decade that our actions in Ukraine, if they did not change would lead to war.

Your NeoCon leaders DNGAF about Ukraine except as a means to an end, they want a bloody proxy war and they want to use that to topple Putin.   The longer this war rolls on, the more unpopular Putin will become in his own country.

Why don't you move?  I guarantee a deep thinker like you would be welcomed in russia.  You could probably even join their army (still) outside of Kiev.

You could then defect and move to Latvia with a cool $50k. It's foolproof.

Amazing that the Russian army can be so much worse than we already thought they were.

How do they run out of food in less than a week? I think Russia can turn in their super power card after this.

I've read that a lot of soldiers were trading food and fuel for vodka before the war started.

Putin thought they would just march straight in and it would be over in a couple of days. Reports are that the troops/officers on the ground had no idea they were going to invade. It was kept secret. Plus, they just kinda suck at logistics anyway.

Supply chain issues are hurting us all, I guess.

It's too bad everyone has nukes and we have to worry about that.  We have enough firepower just within Germany to smoke the Russian army.

A lot of chatter about fuel and provisions being sold on the black market.

Troops were told they were in Belarus on drill so acted like business as usual.

100% this.  Did you see that convoy parked on a road in broad daylight?  WE would take that thing apart in a few hours

Why didn't the Ukrainians use their Turkish drones to just destroy that slow-rolling bastard?

I think they’re trying to focus on defending the big cities vs spreading out forces like that.  That’s be a hell of a bombing run i would imagine.

Historical speaking, it would be more than appropriate for Russia to botch this thing up due to supply issues. Throughout the past few hundred years, that's kind of been their thing.

There is anti-air support mixed in with that convoy, I don't know that Ukraine can handle that

There are reports of Ukraine strikes on the convoy.

It will get tricky when they start to try to encircle Kyiv because they will get stretched out and their communication sucks.
