i agree with this. you can't beat trump by telling voters he's being unfairly persecuted while he laughs at how you eat pudding and tells old magas that you want to cut their social security. attacking trump is risky, but if you're afraid to do it, you probably shouldn't run.

I think he will still run. Otherwise, he gets term limited out of his governorship 2 years before the next presidential election. I guess maybe he could try to primary an incumbent senator or something, but that's not a slam dunk even in Florida.
