hard freeze last night. ash tree is already starting to dump the leaves like crazy. Will probably be devoid of leaves by the weekend. gets me every year.
about ready for the locust to just hurry up and finish its leaf thing. We track those tiny leaves into the house for weeks in the fall.

Ash tree completed leaf dumping Friday. Cleaned leaves off of baby grass on Saturday. Leaf drifts in the neighborhood this morning after high winds yesterday.

Gotta tip my hat to the cottonwoods in the river / creek valleys this morning. Their golden leaves were illuminated by the sun's first rays. It was a glorious sight.

North Newton, KS is a pretty great tree town.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I don’t know what’s hotter, the tree or the truck.
