I need to step up my robo vac game. I've had a dumb one that does fine when it doesn't immediately head for the 3 spots in my house it can get stuck in. I have mostly hardwoods with some rugs. I don't think I want the mop one. That seems like a PIA. I'd also like to not spend more than $300 or so. I'd like to buy at Costco if possible. My last one had an issue and it was a pain dealing with the company.  Any robot vac pro tips are appreciated.

Roborock is the way. Got you in about any price range. Beware you'll start incrementally looking at better features for a few bucks more and end up with a 2k model.

Ha, I've heard that Roborock is good and was just looking. Costco has the fancy ones. The Roborock website has some on sale. The Q8 was $599 and it's $299 on the site. It has mopping though. Do you know if it mops all the time or can I just tell it to vacuum?

Every one of them I have that has a mop you can tell it not to mop. Now the dumber one (real old model) that means just don't drop water, on the nicer one it lifts up the mops and doesn't spin, or drop water (revo Q). you can decide based on how you divide up the floor into rooms or spaces like an area rug.

Thanks. This Q8 Max for $299 seems like a good option for me. I just really want something reliable to get the daily dust and dog hair without getting stuck or eating every cord I have plugged in in the entire house.

That's pretty close to my first one I use mostly on the carpeted level. Still works great after 5 years

Not even close. Letting two backyard specialists guys put it up for a mere $200 nearly as valuable.

Surprised they'd want the liability exposure of setting that up on your property. Look great, though. Is that corn?

Yeah. That farmer got rich selling off all his farmland probably 20 years ago or so and kept a little bit and then built a big new house w the profits. The old house is behind that old shed I think. The big house is over to the left behind the trees.

My dog is on his last legs, mostly deaf and also mostly blind. What’s wrong w the fence?

Oh yeah, duh. It is cool when the corn gets tall.

oh man. ms ww really wants this right now. I know for sure I ain't putting it together but i'm also worried about where to put it. My backyard isn't the most level and not sure how to prepare the spot + move the newly installed sprinkler heads so it doesn't get blasted by water.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

Nice playground area but I don't think I'd want to be that close to all the herbicide/pesticide sprayed on that field.  :runaway:

Ive just bought a new, bigger butt plug & Im doing all sorts of things with it firmly in place. With my previous plug I often went mountain bike riding on single track trails.

Whats the craziest thing youve done while your butt plug was in your ass?

on the bird thread, hearing a lot of people like those bird feeders with a nest doorbell in them. I personally want to drive those rats with wings away from my deck but for those of you who like bird voyeurism I hear it's cool.

have not bought yet, but have been looking into how to make my place smell incredible all the time, without having to buy stuff over and over, and it seems like candle warmers is the answer. stay tuned
