I dabbled in some merino wool for travel reasons and I'm sold. I definitely don't take care of it well enough to justify the cost but yolo
I highly recommend darn tough socks

You just have to experience it. They are very comfortable and stay dry when walking all day. You can also wear them multiple days if needed. I have some cheap merino socks from Amazon as well and they are just fine but the single pair of darn tough is definitely better.

I have craploads of merino socks.  Darn Tough is the best and have a lifetime warranty (but I’ve never had to use it).  Smartwool is general pretty good.  Mixed results for Icebreaker and Point6 durability so haven’t bought those in several years.

Cold wash.  Air dry.

Actually now that I think about it, Darn Tough is the only brand that I’ll throw in the dryer and not worry about.

Roborock Q5 Revo is hands down the best robovac I've ever had or friend's have had.

Good call Phil.  I found a refurb for about $350 on ebay from the manufacturer.  This is significantly quieter than my old one.  Moves in an organized pattern and seamlessly switches from mop to vac on rugs.

I bought a Breville Oracle Touch last month and it makes fantastic espresso.  Just like a really good coffee shop.

Now I am buying various delish local roaster beans and trying them all out.  This thing makes wonderful espresso.

Can you sleep OK if you have caffeine late in the day? I have always wanted be someone who had a nice coffee at the conclusion of dinner, but it really messes with my sleep.

I have two super powers:
1. I have never had a hangover regardless of how hard I have tried
2. I can fall asleep within mere minutes regardless of where I am or what time it is.  That said, I rest a lot better when I have my last coffee by no later than 2pm.  I notice a big difference in quality of sleep when I break the 2pm rule.

Bought this edger to clean up our walking path blocks.  Working great, and it's better than me trying to surgically insert the weed eater which usually just kills the grass.

The edger we had when I was a kid was awesome bc you didn’t have a line of sight to where the blade was so unless you were just a pro, that thing was really good at either making sparks fly from the blade hitting the concrete or cutting a line about an inch too far in from where the lawn met the driveway.

I need to step up my robo vac game. I've had a dumb one that does fine when it doesn't immediately head for the 3 spots in my house it can get stuck in. I have mostly hardwoods with some rugs. I don't think I want the mop one. That seems like a PIA. I'd also like to not spend more than $300 or so. I'd like to buy at Costco if possible. My last one had an issue and it was a pain dealing with the company.  Any robot vac pro tips are appreciated.

Roborock is the way. Got you in about any price range. Beware you'll start incrementally looking at better features for a few bucks more and end up with a 2k model.

Ha, I've heard that Roborock is good and was just looking. Costco has the fancy ones. The Roborock website has some on sale. The Q8 was $599 and it's $299 on the site. It has mopping though. Do you know if it mops all the time or can I just tell it to vacuum?

Have we talked about this before?  I got the Husqvarna 150BT last fall.  I love the backpack.

Tom, I also have that edger.  I've only ever used it for shaping beds (i.e. creating an edge a few feet from the bed where there wasn't an edge, and then digging up the grass inside the edge).  Do you use it for like, post-mowing edging?
