Agreed that the stock market is a crap indicator of economic health. Dax, which economic barometer do you prefer and how’s it lookin’? if you’re going to be the last MAGA holdout being mad about THIS economy you can step up and get your beatin'.

My company does a bunch of different stuff, and it's true that not all areas are doing well.  The down areas do seem like areas that only do well when the tide is truly high, so I can see where from some limited viewpoints where the economy could be perceived as not ideal, but definitely not bad. People who do M&A related stuff are bummed about this economy.

Example - the protracted (record breaking series of months I believe) albeit shallow manufacturing slow down (but in a post pandemic recovery environment?) Fingers crossed for a 2024 rebound

The tech sector is starting to hemorrhage jobs right now

They tout a narrowing trade deficit but leave out the trade deficit blow out of late 2022.
