It’s a great economy if you’re a baby boomer with a lot of assets, it’s horrible for anyone who wants to acquire assets at a reasonable price.  So it’s bad for like 95% of the population (really, closer to 99 but I’ll be generous).

I agree with your grievance but I think wealth inequality and the economy are separate conversations.

Wealth inequality didn’t create these conditions, economic policy did.

The optimist in me believes that in the next few years, there will no longer be some mystique about ronald reagan and everyone will realize "oh crap, everything really changed to a shitty trajectory like the day he took office"

Like as a fun game, take just about anything policy-related that you don't like or seems completely unfair to everyone except gazillionaires. 99.9% of the time there is a straight line back to ronnie.

the thing i hate most about him is he did not deserve any of those tornado blowies from nance

Oh so your post was about Nancy and not about how in your dwindled mind the entirety of the economy in the year of our Flying Spaghetti Monster 2024 leads back to Ronald Reagan.

That's like walking from East to West (or vice versa) in Nepal thinking you're not going to run into a few hills along the way.

the free market does free market crap.  Real estate is valuable because there is a finte amount and your loan is expensive because you are a credit risk.  It's been that way for a really long time

I mean there are probably at least a thousand ways you can explain that graphic aside from pinning it on Regan or even any Regan-era policy.

For example, should we just assume that the relative value of services provided by the top 10% should always stay a consistent ratio vs. the bottom 90%? Why?

Earlier in this thread you blamed economic policy for real estate prices, and now you are blaming covid? WHICH IS IT, KIM CARNES?

Also Carnes, this is how capitalism works.  If you are unable to compete the socialist chicken exit is over there, comrade.

The best I can tell is tucker's interview didn't break the internet and Biden was old AF and no one cared.  And Taylor

DeflectoBot forgets how horned up #blueanon got about the raid on Trump's place in Florida.  Nothing gets #blueanon/#blueanongE  six to midnight like a good FBI raid.

Now DeflectoBot's boy is too old, feeble and mentally incapacitated to face charges for illegally mishandling classified documents.

If it were a Pub, #blueanongE would have already pooped out about another 40 - 50 pages and 3 additional threads.
