what do you think happened with the china spy balloon, dax? (i ask, knowing that no answer will follow)
It flew over the United States.
Do you think China would allow something moving at about 12 mph give or take, that was potentially carrying very sensitive intelligence gathering systems, to loiter over its territory for days and within easy viewing/sensing of many of their major military installations?
The whole "we were studying their capabilities" narrative is funny, because one would presume that a trillion dollar (annual) military-intelligence enterprise could ascertain the capabilities or lack of capabilities of that platform within a day or two . . . considering it was right there either near or over Canada our NORAD buddy and our nation for multiple days before it even cross into the lower 48. The just installed multiple new long range radar arrays in Alaska a couple of years ago. If that balloon was actually monitoring those kinds of things, it would have been doing so in Alaska.
