That's a pretty interesting video. I don't know much about physics but I would expect the kinetic energy from a hellfire-sized projectile to completely tear a passenger car apart, even without an explosion.

Would love to see the crash-test dummy tests with cars vs hellfire r9x missles

i think it's completely charming that engineers responded to the problem of how to kill people with missiles without killing (as many) bystanders by duct taping a sword to one of our best missiles.

and it apparently works.

I know my butthole puckered when we killed Soleimani in Iraq, because (a) Iran, next-door neighbor, actually has a real military with advanced weapons, and (b) we had bases and troops on the ground in Iraq. In fact, Iran did bombard one of our bases, and the reports from troops on the ground are harrowing. Though thankfully, we had enough advance notice that no troops were killed.

By the way, we used the same "flying Ginsu" (<-- elite insider lingo) on Soleimani as we used against Al-Zawahiri.

It's kind of neat watching us give big middle fingers to Russia, Afghanistan, and China all at once. I'm not sure if Joe condones Nancy's trip to Taiwan, though.

The blowback from our decades long engagement with AQ has been far more substantial than anything we've faced from Iran.  We've fought AQ on a global scale, Iran - regionally and many times via proxies.

The U.S. under Trump took out a regional terror actor (but a threat to regionally based U.S. troops) representing a nation state that should not pose any real threat to the United States on the battlefield . . . total meltdown by #blueanon.

Publicity Stunt mid-term President Biden takes out a singular figure of an entity that's attacked us in our homeland and that we've engaged either directly or via proxies on 3 continents setting off a cascade of perpetual war that has lasted decades.  Biden = Hero

How many months before the revisions?

I'll say shortly after the midterms.

New layoffs - trending higher

New multiple job holders - trending higher

LFPR - declining (more)

Full time labor force - in decline

There's a copious legion of #blueanon thought leaders who don't want Joe to be President.

Hell, fat ol butterball Jerry Nadler wouldn't even commit to Biden running again during his debate the other night.

#deflectodug strikes again

The labor force participation rate is demographics driven. It is certainly true that there are other things happening with gig workers and some dips in the prime labor force rate but demographics is destiny and that trend line is going down for the foreseeable future unless we get more babies or more immigrants.

Again, layoffs accelerating, full time labor force two straight months of marked decline, multiple job holders with marked increase.

Mid-term smoke and mirrors.

The household labor numbers have been trending lower, at an ever wider gap between the establishment numbers for 5 straight months.

That's understood, but some of the reasons given for that decline are bullshit.   It's not all people just straight up retiring because it's time for them to retire.
