Did someone really jump on that plane and then manage to hold on for a while and then fell?

How many tweets did Chum post on this board that were anti Trump tweets that later got deleted by the creator, because it was a complete horse crap lie? I think he set a record for believing everything he saw on Twitter, because he wanted it to be real.

I wasn't talking about criticism. The criticism is well deserved. I was talking about how dax doesn't actually give a crap about people dying or anything else. He's only here to argue for sport.

I think in general the US handles these "invade country/prop up new govt" incredibly poor.  I believe Cambodia we bailed on them and handed the country over to someone known as "the butcher"

We had a family friend who was part of the evacuation of the US embassy in Saigon.  Those are some crazy ass stories about the evacuation and the aftermath in Vietnam.  But don't you worry, we'll be back on the wagon in the next 15 years.

Setting aside whether countries will let more people from Afghanistan into their countries, is the Taliban letting people gtfo?

I doubt it.  Hard to recruit a bigger military if everyone is running for the hills.

If everyone in Afghanistan was anti-taliban it would not have fallen anywhere nearly as quick as it did. I can see it being totally rational to allow the more western minded to exit in order to establish a stable totalitarian nation.

Biden and his military staff mumped this up.  Sure he wasn't in a ideal situation, but that's no excuse to be so wrong about the situation.  He needs to own it.

Terrible what our allies who were left behind in 1975 had to face.

If I faced with the (horrible) choice, I would rather have been a member of the South Vietnamese Army and take my chances on surviving time in a re-education camp than be an Afghan with any ties to the US who is stuck in that country now. The Taliban are going to slaughter those poor people.

Outside of the Taliban, the US corporations who sell supplies and war fighting gadgets have been big winners over the past 20 yrs. Would be interested to see a breakdown on which corporations pocketed the largest profits.

I’m sure Dick Cheney owns a stake in all of them

lol. If Trump would have mocked the Taliban, pulled out troops, and this was the result of it, you wouldn’t stfu about it. Now it’s just “ho hum, golly gee” by super lib residents. Pathetic!

Reports:  Taliban guarding Russian and Chinese embassy.   Moscow and Beijing tearing the U.S. and Biden to shreds across all media formats around the globe.

Biden completely rebuffed by OPEC, ISIS attacking oil fields in Iraq.

Just a complete and total CF

I literally said it doesn't seem like it could have went worse. Looking for a little more insight than your 'democrats should never do foreign policy troll post.
