When you have 6'3" 220 lb receivers to throw to, you can be a pretty good QB. I see Will as a 10 year serviceable NFL backup.

I would love to see him starring in Progressive's line of "backup" commercials.

Odd how Adrian Martinez is credited with being a Nubb QB when he finished his collegiate career at K-State.  Don't see the same happening with Will Howard.  He'll be remembered as an Ohio State QB.

I think if Adrian had led Kstate to the National title game, he'd be referred to a KState QB.

To be completely honest, even if they were open to the idea of expansion I doubt they would cross the Mississippi (river). Such is our lot

I don’t think I would have done it any different. I mean it’s not like he took off his glasses and ponytail and suddenly got hot. He’s the same guy hes always been, just with a lot more talent around him in pretty much every facet. I know this year was a disappointment but I don’t think will was going to have a breakout year in purple, maybe one more win? But ultimately I still firmly believe Avery was the right choice
