Not little kid sports anymore really, but Nicname Jr’s freshman squad finally beat the team they’d lost to every season going back to first grade for the guys that have been playing that long. One a last-second TD no less!

My 7th grader is trying out for the girls basketball team at school. They had 47 girls come and try out! 47! They're gonna field 3 teams of 8 for an A/B/C squad. Yesterday she was playing on the top court at tryouts, said there were about 14 girls rotating in so it looks like that's the A and B squads. My gut says when they announce teams today she's either an A bench or a B starter.

Made the cut! They just listed all the kids who made a competitive team and will break up into A/B/C later.

Interesting note: If you make the team you are technically on A. They just have A1, A2, A3. Everyone gets a trophy smh.
