Here's how I rank popsicle novelty ice cream flavors:

1. Orange
2. Purple
3. Red

Novelties are just ice cream, but kinkier.

Still working on the home made brown bread ice cream we had cor the 4th.  Maple syrup or brown sugar variations with grape nuts mixed in it.

Some people classify regular old bread as a kind of ice cream.

Anyone tried the McDonalds novelty ice cream slushie? I had the blue kind and it was good!

no but a while back I got McFlurries delivered on doordash for dessert and it was a great play because you don't feel bad about using doordash to hurt a local restaurant

true story- that's how ice cream sandwiches were invented

and where would we be without the choco taco?
they're so much fun after a taco night in america (which is thursdays fwiw)

also, costco sells boxes of drumsticks (vanilla, chocolate fudge, caramel) 15 count for $9.99 i pretty much have a box in my freezer at all times
choco taco was my go to for middle school lunch that and the snickers ice cream candy bar

I worked at a summer camp back east, and the fav treat was Choco Tacos.  The kids would start chanting "Choco Tacos" with the same chant and clap cadence as the "overrated" chant. It was deafening.  And you know what, they were right. It was worth chanting for.

Same. They also went crazy for “Chipwich,” ice cream smashed between two big chocolate chip cookies. Also, the kids would never stop talking about Friendly’s. I didn’t get it. Then we went to a Friendly’s on a group trip. I got it then.

Choco Tacos are ass.

This is what we had at my camp, so delicious

Yes, the boys of Mah-kee-nak loved them some chipwich.

I have not had a choco taco since I was working at the VIA in high school but I used to crush one every other shift or so. Gonna have to keep an eye out for some choco tacos at the local grocery store.

an ice cream novelty is a hand-held form of ice cream: an ice cream bar, a prepackaged cone or cup, a sandwich or any type of ice cream or ice on a stick.

Sorry your iciq is so low, but I'm here to help you learn

How many of you know DQ soft serve is not real ice cream.   :surprised:
It's surprising how many places don't sell real ice cream soft serve.  Most of the time it's ice milk, chicken nuggets, or yogurt.

DQ is trash. Dumped a Blizzard in the sink one night. Still lumped in the sink the next morning. That's the last time I had any. Hard pass on all those chemicals.

You know what's crazy? I don't consider ice cream that is in a cone to be ice cream. Not technically. I do, however, consider the cone itself to be ice cream. Oh, unless the ice cream in the cone is dipped. In that case, it is also not ice cream. Popsicle sticks are also ice cream as well as the popsicle itself.

No soft serve anywhere is real ice cream, it's crap. Nothing is more disappointing than someone hyping up a great ice cream stand then it turns out to be a shitty soft serve place. The only thing you can do with soft serve to distinguish it is throw a bunch of crap on it. Well guess what, every place throws the same crap on their shitty soft serve.

I will say there are differences in buffet soft serve. Actually one of my faves was at an Indian buffet and they had something like a sweet chutney that I would put on it and it was glorious
