Jab No. 1 scheduled for this Thursday at a CVS located conveniently near me. It's Moderna. Could have ventured to far south Dallas for Pfizer, but it didn't seem worth it.

Mrs. SSOC tested positive exactly four months ago. She couldn't taste or smell anything other than "salty" or "sweet" at first. Went thru a period where she would smell a terrible sulphur / sewer smell at random times and would accuse innocent people of farting. Her smell and taste are a lot better now but still not normal (probably 75% and 75%) - for example grapefruit LaCroix tastes like metal to her.

Very weird how the virus effects taste and smell so specifically.

I'm thankful neither were affected by my 'rona case last summer. At one point, I thought I was losing taste. Then I realized it was the menthol in my Nyquil numbing my taste buds.

Next Wednesday is my 2 weeks after 2nd shot date. Few more days to hold on and never had to get a test due to symptoms or exposure. I should get a Dr. Fauci certificate of global pandemic completion award.

My lady friend tested positive and she’s been over the last few days, so I almost for sure got it.
